eProduction Solutions, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Muse Measurements

Kingwood, TX, September 4, 2002 - eProduction Solutions (eP) leader in automation and optimization for production oil and gas fields announced today that it has acquired the assets of Muse Measurements. This is a part of eP’s strategy to provide complete oil and gas field solutions for production management, automation, and optimization. This transaction closed on Wednesday, August 28, 2002. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but eP will immediately take responsibility of the all assets of the Muse Measurements. Muse will continue to operate as a division of eP from the facility in San Dimas, California.

eP Expands Strategy

The acquisition of Muse provides eP customers with a one-stop company for a complete automation/optimization solution. Dharmesh Mehta, president of eProduction Solutions, states, “With Muse Measurements now a part of eP, we are able to offer our customers a more complete and integrated set of control and optimization solutions.”

The acquisition of Muse, in conjunction with eP’s existing optimization and automation solutions, will accelerate the company’s long-standing strategy for providing automation/optimization through a comprehensive approach that supports the entire field, including real-time monitoring, controlling, designing, and analysis of producing oil and gas wells and facilities.

Muse To Maintain Operations in Oil and Non-Oil Related Business

Muse will continue to operate as usual relying on distributors, Internet, and catalog sales, and expand markets with the help of eP’s established presence in many world-wide markets.
